Fiscal Year 2020 Budget Schedule
The Board discussed the following schedule for developing the budget for Fiscal Year 2020:
- 5/9 – Staff presents the preliminary proposed budget and receives feedback from the Board.
- 6/13 – The Board approves the proposed budget and sets the public hearing for final budget approval and adoption.
- 8/15 – The Board hosts the public hearing on the budget hearing and votes on the final budget for adoption.
Hurricane Michael Reimbursements
Robert Berlin (with assistance from All-Pro) successfully managed the complicated FEMA claims process, resulting in a 99 percent reimbursement to the CDD (approximately $76K savings).
St. Joe Update
St. Joe representative John Curtis provided updates on St. Joe’s long-term development planning, including future development and upcoming planning meetings with the City of Tallahassee. St. Joe is coordinating community meetings in June and July so it can provide comments to the City in late July through mid-August, although that timetable may be subject to change.
Southwood Ball House
The public hearing on the debt service assessment on Ball House Property was opened and continued to the May 9 meeting.
Neighborhood Events
